What's the Big Idea?

“In my work, both line and space are constructed to serve an imagined — even irrational — concept. My art has a conceptual narrative, a backstory or a metaphor which, in my mind, drives the work. Often this backstory relates to scientific ideas. The concept is then constructed to spark the imagination and perhaps lead to a kind of acceptance, of a new kind of reality.”
